Republicans go after House Dems on budget votes
(CNN) – Budget barbs are continuing to fly in congressional districts over the federal budget.
The National Republican Congressional Committee said Wednesday they were spending $40,000 to air television and web ads against Democrats for voting against the budget proposed by Rep. Paul Ryan, the Republican House Budget chairman. The measure passed the GOP-controlled House in March, but was given no chance of passing the Democrat-led Senate.
