Several news media have reported new hunger case in Kwoor District, Tambrauw Regency, West Papua. It is reported that 95 children died due to acute malnutrition in Kwoor District. Indigenous Peoples’ Alliance for the Archipelago (AMAN) also reported that since November 2012, indigenous peoples of Kwoor district have been getting stricken by disease causing mass deaths. The people mostly suffer from malnutrition and itching skin.  These have been epidemic in several villages, including Jokjoker, Kosefo, Baddei, Sukuweis and Krisnos.
